Around the dutch oven....okay actually the crockpot....

As I have yammered on about in my previous blogs, I love to cook. Like I don't cook just to survive, I love it! And I love to share so last Sunday as I was sittin' around waiting on the sun to go down, I came up with an idea......several of my favorite ladies of the range lead such busy busy lives that I decided, why not try to get the most out of their time and plan recipes for them by the week along with a shopping list for the mercantile! I have always swore a good gravy would cure flat feet and a broken heart...so here ya' go....hope you enjoy the grub, and I will keep them coming if you enjoy them!

Okay gang here are a couple of more ideas for next week: I think it is gonna be a "beef" week in honor of the WRCA Finals.

Garlic salt or powder, oregano, salt and pepper
Package of hoagie rolls
A1 or Heinz 57 Sauce1

Sunday: Brown your hamburger meat and 1/2 diced onion. Place part of the meat in a baggie for pizza later in the week. Set other half aside, boil egg yolk noodles according to package, drain. Combine noodles and meat in pan put on low heat, add 1 can cream of mushroom soup and 1/2 mushrooms (optional) and 1 cup milk and 1 cup sourcream. Cook on low for 5-10 minutes. Store in refigerator after cooled.

Sunday: Chop up roundsteak into 1X1" cubes or so, place in crockpot add potatoes and 1/2 onion, 1 can cream of mushroom soup, 1 cup milk and 1/2 cup sour cream, salt and pepper to taste. Store in refigerator, cook Monday morning in crock pot on low all day and serve (remove 1/2 of the meat and store in refigerator for Thursday) with steamed carrots (place carrots and 1/4. cup water in covered microwave safe container) cook until tender 7-10 minutes.

Sunday: Boil veggie noodles according to package, drain, add 1 c. italian dressing and drain sliced olives and stir. Store in airtight container for Thursday.

Sunday: chop any veggies you will serve on your pizza and place in with browned hamburger, store. Open tomato paste and sauce, mix and add 1 tbsp. oregano and 2 tsp. garlic. Store in airtight container.

On Tuesday night spread out the biscuits thin on a cookie sheet, bake at 350 for 7 minutes, spread sauce add toppings and cheese, saran wrap and store in refigerator until Wednesday. Wednesday night bake at 350 until cheese is all warm and bubbly, serve with salad and an iced cold root beer!

Thursday: Slice hoagie rolls long ways, layer with steak, mushrooms (optional) and sliced pepperjack put under broiler until cheese is melted. Add 2 Tbsp grated parmesan cheese to pasta salad and serve!

Dessert: Ice Cream Sandwiches: Make chocolate chip cookies, all the same size, bake (ummm the premade ready to bake ones guarantee them to be the same size...and they are easy yet get that cookie smell throughout the house, and the cowboy will never know the difference), let cool and place lowfat frozen vanilla yogurt inbetween 2 cookies.

Ridin' off in the sunset:
